Predicting Strategic Energy Storage Behaviors

چکیده
Energy storage are strategic participants in electricity markets to arbitrage price differences. Future power system operators must understand and predict behaviors for market monitoring capacity adequacy planning. This paper proposes a novel data-driven approach that incorporates prior model knowledge predicting the of price-taker energy systems. We propose gradient-descent method find parameters given historical signals observations. prove identified will converge true user under class quadratic objective linear equality-constrained models. demonstrate effectiveness our through numerical experiments with synthetic real-world behavior data. The proposed significantly improves accuracy identification forecasting compared previous blackbox approaches.

Institutional Influences on Strategic Entrepreneurial Behaviors
The purpose of this paper is to examine the existence of cross-level moderating effects between national appropriability conditions, individual level predictors and entrepreneurial growth aspirations. We test a multi-level model that connects the determinants of strategic resource allocation decisions at the individual level with the strength of the intellectual property rights regime at the na...
متن کاملDeep Learning for Predicting Human Strategic Behavior
Predicting the behavior of human participants in strategic settings is an important problem in many domains. Most existing work either assumes that participants are perfectly rational, or attempts to directly model each participant’s cognitive processes based on insights from cognitive psychology and experimental economics. In this work, we present an alternative, a deep learning approach that ...

People’s facial expressions, whether made consciously or subconsciously, continuously reveal their state of mind. This work proposes a method for predicting people’s strategic decisions based on their facial expressions. We designed a new version of the centipede game that intorduces an incentive for the human participant to hide her facial expressions. We recorded on video participants who pla...
